At Bleur, we put all our energy into supporting our artists tell their story and push boundaries. Working with incredibly talented artists at the start of their journey and championing artistic creation is the reason why we set up Bleur. We met Sophie back when Bleur was just an idea and when she responded to our Open Call of Summer 2019, we couldn’t be happier – we are thrilled to have her with us!
“In August of 2019 I joined the London collective at Bleur. Bleur works with emerging artists to promote their work, host group exhibitions, and to sell artists’ work online to new audiences.
Creating my profile video with the talented team was a really fun experience. We took a profile photo for my page, then set about videoing me do some embroidery in the studio. While I’m not a natural in from of the camera, I am super happy with the result. The video looks fantastic!
The music was made by my brother who goes by the name Big Betty. It was important for me to include another up and coming artist in the process, and he nailed the music.
Thank you to the Bleur team for making me feel extremely cool that day – I’m excited for the work I’ll make and sell through Bleur!”
